Handwara, Feb 28 (KNS): Police District Handwara today organised a grand felicitation party in favour national champions of Budokan Karate Do Jammu and Kashmir. The party was presided over by SSP Handwara Gulam Jeelani Wani who is also the honorary Chairman of BKJK.
Besides SDPO Handwara, DSP DR, DSP Operations, President BKJK, SHO Handwara, state coach BKJK, Instructors, parents and students and all unit officers participated.
It is pertinent to mention here that in this month 12 students from Budokan Karate Do Jammu and Kashmir were flagged off by the SSP Handwara and Association president N.D Beigh to participate in 16th All India Budokan Karate championship at Vishakhapatnum.

SSP Handwara assured for cooperation, moral support for all upcoming events of the Budokan. He on the spot announced a Tatami mat for Budokan students.
In his address State President Budokan Karate N.D Beigh thanked for the role of Distt Police Handwara in general and for the active role of SSP Handwara in particular. He thanked all the officers, media persons and other participants for their participation and encouragement. (KNS)
