Srinagar, Jul 07 (KNS): PDP's Member Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir has congratulated Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu on what he called "historical breakthrough on implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) without eroding section 5 of Jammu & Kashmir constitution granting sweeping financial powers to the state".
Reaction on the constitutional safeguards provided in the Presidential order on GST implementation Fayaz Mir said for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir and central law was extended to the state without eroding the relevant provisions of the article 370 guaranteeing special status to Jammu & Kashmir and full credit goes to the political wisdom of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and the laudable ground work of Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu on GST implementation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel(KNS)
