Father of Anantnag Deputy Commissioner Passes Away

Anantnag, Jan 26 (KNS): Syed Abdul Hamid Shah, the father of Anantnag's Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Syed Fakhrudin Hamid, passed away at the Government Medical College (GMC) here today.
 
Family sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that he suffered a cardiac arrest at home and was immediately taken to GMC Anantnag, where he passed away later in the evening.
 
According to local reports, the deceased was a prominent figure in the Imam Sahib area of south Kashmir's Shopian district. He was a distinguished educationalist who contributed significantly to the area through his work in education.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
Locals described his passing as a great loss to the community, remembering him as a pious and helpful soul.
 
Meanwhile, Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir News Service (KNS), Muhammad Aslam Bhat, expressed grief over the demise.
 
In a condolence message, Aslam extended his sympathy to Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and the bereaved family, praying for peace for the departed soul. (KNS)
