Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): The Secretary Tourism and Floriculture, Farooq Ahmad Shah Saturday visited the sight of Mubarak Mandi heritage complex in Jammu and instructed the ASI and other agencies to speed the ongoing work for the revival of this precious heritage complex.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the Secretary along with the Director Tourism Jammu, Director Floriculture, Joint Director Tourism and other officers and engineers of the department had a threadbare discussion on various components for revival of the said heritage complex.
The secretary instructed the officials to engage some best professional for the landscaping purpose and instructed the tourism Director Jammu for submitting a detailed proposal of works to be carried for facilitating the visitors and tourists to this complex within a week’s time.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Farooq Ahmad Shah instructed the officials to adhere on eco friendly methods to retain the heritage status of the said complex and warned them that there will be no compromise in this regard.
The Secretary Tourism also visited the ongoing work sight of Jammu cable car project along with the MD cable car Shamim Wani and Director Tourism Jammu, Exen JK Tourism Department the secretary stressed upon the officials to work with speed for completion of the project on time that is March2018 as there will be no compromise on the target time frame the said project is being executed an estimated cost of @ 62 crore from which 16 cr has been spend.
