Srinagar, July 25 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah offered Friday congregational prayers at the revered Asar-e-Sharief Dargah, Hazratbal.

Amidst a large gathering of devotees, Dr. Farooq joined the devotees in solemn prayer at the sacred shrine, which holds immense spiritual and cultural significance for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He offered special duas for the well-being, unity, and prosperity of the people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

“May Almighty Allah guide us all towards a path of peace, mutual respect, and progress. Let us pray that love and understanding triumph over hatred and division,” he said while interacting with devotees at the Dargah.

Local residents and pilgrims welcomed Dr. Abdullah warmly and appreciated his continued commitment to engaging with people at the grassroots and upholding the spiritual and cultural fabric of the region.

The visit also included informal interactions with shrine caretakers, local elders, and representatives from surrounding areas who apprised him of ongoing issues and sought his continued support. (KNS)
