Jammu Feb 26 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed profound shock and grief over the killing of Kalyan Singh, a senior KAS officer, his wife and another person in a tragic road accident in Khilani area of Doda District.
Conveying their condolences to the bereaved families, the President and the Working President prayed for peace to the departed souls.
The senior officer, along with his wife and a relative, was proceeding towards his home to perform the last rites of his father, who passed away yesterday, when the car they were travelling in plunged into a gorge.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, Provincial President National Conference Jammu, Devender Singh Rana has also expressed shock over the tragic road mishap and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
Senior leaders of National Conference from Chenab Valley, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, former MP, Sajjad Kitchloo, former minister and MLC, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhay, Qazi Jalal-ud-Din and Dr Chaman Lal, former legislators besides District Presidents Tanveer Kitchloo and Sajjad Shaheen have also expressed grief over those killed in the accident and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
