Jammu, Feb 14 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the tragic road accident at Nachlana in Banihal last evening.
Conveying condolences to the bereaved families, the President and the Working President prayed for peace to departed souls. They also wished early recovery of the injured persons.
Provincial President Devender Singh Rana also expressed grief over the unfortunate accident and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, District President National Conference Ramban Sajjad Shaheen has sought adequate compensation and ex-gratia relief to the families of ten persons killed in the accident, wondering how the victims were carried in BRO Tipper.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe sought a high level independent probe to ascertain the cause of accident.
Shaheen also sought job to one person of the family who lost their dear one in the accident. He also demanded free specialised treatment of those injured in the mishap.
