Urges Immediate Relief Measures and Enhanced Safety for Nomadic Families in Upper Reaches
Srinagar, August 6 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & CM Omar Abdullah Wednesday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives caused by a severe thunderstorm in Waltangoo Nard-Kund in Devsar. The calamity led to the unfortunate death of a nomadic father-daughter duo and left several others seriously injured.
The leaders prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile MLA Devsar Peerzada Faroz Ahmad visited the affected area and met with the grieving family. He expressed solidarity with the victims and assured that immediate relief will be provided. He also urged district officials present on the occasion to expedite relief distribution and ensure ongoing support to all affected families.(KNS)
