Srinagar, 23 May (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Member of Parliament Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing away of Sunil Bhat son of senior party Member and Former MLC Bushan Lal Bhat.

In his condolence message, Farooq said, “I received news of the passing away of Sunil Bhat with heartbreak and sorrow. It is indeed a colossal loss for Bushan Lal Ji. My heartfelt thoughts go out to the bereaved family particularly Bushan Lal Ji in this hour of sorrow. Sharing in their sorrow, I also pray for eternal peace to the deceased,” he said.

In his condolence message, Omar Abdullah said, “I don’t know how to find words to convey my condolences to Bushan Lal Ji and his family on their colossal loss.  I pray for peace to the departed soul and much-needed strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. I am in unison with the bereaved family in their hour of loss and grief.” he said. 

Party President also made a telephonic call to the bereaved family and expressed condolences to them. The deceased, it is pertinent to mention, breathed his last at Apollo Hospital Mumbai battling Covid-19 infection.
