Sopore, Dec 10 (KNS): The family members and relatives of a missing Kashmiri student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), on Saturday staged a protest demonstration in Sopore area of Baramulla district against the mysterious disappearance of their kin who went missing on few days ago.
The protesters, including women and children, of Sopore and family members of missing student Masroor Abbas Mir, a 10th standard student at AMU, raised pro-justice slogans and demanded immediate recovery of him.
He didn’t reach the hostel last Thursday. We have no idea who kidnapped him. We want to know where our son is,” said the relatives of missing youth and sought immediate intervention of J&K Lieutenant governor to ensure the safety and return of their son.
Meanwhile, Aligarh police in a tweet said that the search for the missing student is going on after registering the charges.(KNS)
