Srinagar, September 10 (KNS): Former Additional Principal Chief Conservator Forests Kashmir Syed Farooq A Gillani, IFS (Retd) has joined Nageen Lake Conservation Organization as an honorary member and advisor.
According to a statement, issued to KNS, NLCO President Manzoor Wangnoo said that apart from his illustrious career with the forest service, Gillani brings with him a very robust experience of working towards the conservation of environment at grass-root & is considered an authority in forest conservation.
"It will be a matter of honor for all of us at NLCO to have his guidance and patronage available. His contributions are immense and we all are excited & fervently believe that his joining the organization will add new dimension to the Organization and help it to take its struggle for conservation of ecology and environment to new
heights."
It added that Gillani's multi-talented persona will definitely provide a new direction to the eco-endeavors of NLCO. (KNS)
