Srinagar, Nov 08 (KNS): Senior Leader and Former MLA Shangus Advocate Ab Majid Mir today joined the People`s Democratic Party (PDP) along with hundreds of his supporters.

Advocate Majid Mir was welcomed into the party fold by the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and Party General Secretaries Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura and Dr Mehboob Beg.

Welcoming Advocate Khan into the party PDP President expressed hope that his joining would provide a major fillip in strengthening the party at the grassroots.

On the occasion, Ex MLA Shangus Majid Mir said that the leadership and ideology of PDP inspired him to be part of the party that is representing the aspirations and sentiments of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
