Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS): State Congress president G A Mir has been asked by the Estates Department to vacate the residential accommodation this week as he has become an “unauthorised occupant”.
The Estates department in its order (No. DDES/Pvt House/2016/683-84) has asked Mir to vacate the residential accommodation at House No. D-2 Friends Enclave belonging to Mufti Farhad Aziz.
The department in its order says that the accommodation was provided to Mir in the capacity of former minister on 13-05-2015 for a “specified period of time”.
“….Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channelallotment has expired on 10/2015 and even there is an outstanding of RS 46200 as rent/licence/fee…..Now you are informed to vacate the accommodation provided to you by the Estates Department by or before April 15, 2016, failing which action is warranted under rules shall be taken in matter without any further notice, solely at your own risk and responsibility,” the order, signed by Deputy Director Estates, reads.
JKPCC spokesman Farooq Indrabi said that such decisions are taken as “political vengeance”. (KNS)
