Srinagar, Oct 19 (KNS): Independent legislator from Langate, who was smeared ink by right-wing goons in Press Club in New Delhi, is going to protest outside the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at 7 Race Course in the Indian capital.
Talking to KNS from New Delhi, Rashid said that he and his five other associates were smeared with ink by right-wing goons and beaten up before media persons in Press Club where he was scheduled to hold a presser. The legislator said that he wants to remind Modi of India’s claims of being a democratic country, “when even a press conference by an elected MLA is sabotaged, attacked and disturbed”.
