Jammu, Jan 21 (KNS): Deputy Speaker Assembly ordered marshalling out of MLA Langate Er. Rashid and his suspension from participation in the assembly proceedings for creating ruckus over the release of a minor, senior separatist leader Masarat Alam and others but the suspension of Er. Rashid was later withdrawn by the Deputy Speaker at the instance of senior opposition members in the Assembly.
According to KNS correspondent covering the assembly proceedings, Er. Rashid sought reply from the government over what he called illegal detention of a minor Sahil Ahmad Sheikh of Dalgate Srinagar lodged at Kot Balwal Jail, re-arrest of senior separatist leader Masarat Alam after quashment of 36 PSAs and repeated orders of his release by the High Court and Sarjan Barkati lodged at Srinagar Central Jail.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
When the government did not respond to his demand Er. Rashid holding a banner went into the well of the House in shouted slogans. Deputy Speaker ordered his marshalling out and ordered his suspension from participation in the house for two days.
However Deputy Speaker withdrew his decision at the instance of some opposition members later. (KNS)
