Srinagar, Jan 08 (KNS): CCIK on Saturday urged government to ensure snow clearance, uninterrupted electricity, emergency health facilities and water supply. 

In a statement issued to KNS, CCIK president Tariq Ghani urged administration to ensure proper electricity, water supply and road clearance.

CCIK said snow clearance of SHEHAR-E- KHAAS roads and inner lanes of Srinagar city should be cleared immediately for locals to step out of their homes. 

The prices of essential commodities should be checked and deal with the unscrupulous elements in the market. 

In case of medical emergencies, especially far flung areas the health department should remain prepared for immediate medical care. 

CCIK also demanded that j&k highway should be kept open and air flights should be resumed as earliest as possible. 

Also roads to various tourist destinations like Gulmarg, Sommarg and Pahalgam should be cleared immediately for hassle free traffic moment. 

Special task force should be enforced to check any sort of inconvenience to the travellers and tourists. (KNS)
