Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS) : Reaffirming its commitment to expanding convenient banking services across the region, J&K Bank commissioned two new ATMs at Ghat and Bhagwa in District Doda, enhancing access to digital banking facilities for local residents, customers and businesses.
Installed at the Bank’s Ghat branch, the ATM was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (Doda) Harvinder Singh in the presence of Zonal Head (Doda) Vinay Gupta, Cluster Head Kumar Sorab, Branch Head Vinod Singh, and a gathering of the Bank’s valuable customers, senior citizens and local residents.
Following the inauguration, a brief function was held at the Branch, during which DC (Doda) Harvinder Singh distributed sanction letters among youth under Mission YUVA and various government-sponsored schemes (GSS) including REGP, Vishwakarma and PMEGP etc. Beneficiaries of GSS and members of the local community also attended the programme.

The second onsite ATM was commissioned at Bhagwa, which was inaugurated by the Zonal Head Vinay Gupta in the presence of Cluster Head Kumar Sorab, Branch Manager Imran Abbasi, and a large gathering of customers and local residents.
Expressing commitment to improved service delivery, Zonal Head Vinay Gupta said, “Expanding our touch points in regions like Doda is central to our mission of inclusive banking. These ATMs will ease daily transactions for thousands of people. The Bank will continue to support livelihood generation and financial inclusion initiatives across the zone and beyond.”
The inauguration was followed by the sanction letter distribution ceremony under GSS.(KNS)
