Srinagar 16 June (KNS): A gunfight broke out between millitants and security forces in outskirts of central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Tuesday.

As per initial reports, a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Wagoora Nowgam area of Srinagar.

As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding millitants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel 

Encounter has started at Wagoora, Naugam area of Srinagar. Two miliants trapped. Security forces on job. Further details shall follow, police tweeted.(KNS)
