Sopore, Mar 15 (KNS): A 50-year-old man was killed in a road accident that took place in Puthkha area of Sopore in Baramulla district on Tuesday afternoon.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the man identified as Abdul Majeed Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh of Frasdobh Khaitnag was hit by a speedy vehicle near Puthkha and he died on the spot.
He said that after medico-legal formalities body was handed over to his family while police have registered a case in this regard.
He also said that police have arrested the driver and his vehicle has been seized. (KNS)
