Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNS): Six leaders of joint action committee ((EJAC) including its president Abdul Qayom Wani who were detained here on Saturday after police foiled their meeting, are being shifted to Kupwara and Baramulla sub-jails.
They were detained yesterday as they the leaders had begun to discuss future course of action on the Government’s move, sacking of employees for their alleged participation in anti-government protests.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Sources told KNS that EJAC leaders Farooq Trali, Wajahat Durani, Fayaz Shabnum and Latief Ahmad and Latief Ahmad Malik are being shifted to Kupwara sub-jail and Qayoom Wani, Aijaz Ahmad Khan and Sajad Ahmad Parray are being shifted to Baramulla sub-jail. (KNS)
