EJAC has expressed grief and deep sorrow over the sad demise of Dr Margoob Banihali.

Srinagar, 28 April (KNS) : JK Employees Joint Action Committee(EJAC) has expressed grief and deep sorrow over the sad demise of a noted academician, poet,  prolific writer, and intellectual of national and international repute Dr Margoob Banihali.

In a condolence message, President EJAC and Chairman JK Teachers Forum(JKTF ) Mohd Rafique Rather highlighted Dr. Margoob Banhali`s immense contributions in the field of literature in particular Kashmiri literature and termed his demise a major loss for society in general and for the world of literature in particular and added that his absence will be deeply felt in times to come and void he has left among in the literary landscape of Jammu and Kashmir will be extremely difficult to fill in.

Mr Rather said that "I on behalf of EJAC leadership and on behalf of entire employees fraternity of JK extend solidarity and sympathies to the bereaved family and assured them that their loss is equally shared by EJAC. Rafique Rather prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and courage to  Dr Margoob’s  bereaved family and nears and dears to bear this irreparable loss.(KNS)
