A long meeting was held between the State Chief Secretary and j&k Employees Joint Action Committee. The Ejac leadership was lead by JCC Leader and President Ejac Ab Qayoom Wani.
The EJAC President Ab Qayoom Wani welcomed the Chief Secretary on assuring the charge on behalf of whole EJAC leadership and Presented 19 point charter based on the Employees issues to him.
All the issues were discussed oneby one. Especially the agreement dated 8th july 2012 signed between the JCC and Govt.And the issues inlisted in the agreement which include the regularization of daily wagers of all the Deapartments. Pay anomaly of clerical cadre and pre-revised grade of rupees 6500-10500.The EJAC President apprised the Chief Secretary about the problems being faced by the Employees of the State presented a demand charter comprising 19 points about the issues of State Employees.
The EJAC President Ab Qayoom Wani assured the Chief Secretary that under the bannerof EJAC the 5 Lac Employees shall support in restoration of work culture and eradication of corruption and shall mitigate the troubles of the people but at the same time the Govt should desist from adopting delay dallying tactis adopted by Govt.In resolving the issues of Employees so that they or not compelled to come on road.
The EJAC President Ab Qayoom Wani urged that pay should be released infavour of all the Govt and semi govt including SSA, RMSA, causal and daily wagers employees before Eid.
The other issues which were disscused in detail and the Chief Secretary expressed his positive approach include(1)Implementation of Agreement dated 08-07-2012 reached between the High Power Committee and JCC.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel(2) Regularization of Daily Wagers, Causal Labours, Temporary Employees, SBM, HDFC, NYC, Contractual Employees of SSA, and MGNREGA.(3) Removal of Pay Anomaly as agreed in the agreement infavour of clerical cadre and pre revised grade of Ruppes 6500-10500(4)revival of weak public sector units and release of 6th pay commission arrears and budgetary support to them.(5)Inclusion of five (5)years service infavour of RET and release implementation of Court Order regarding transfer of RET and release and regulating the salaries of SSA AND RMSA Teachers, Master. (6)Enhancement of Medical allowance from rupees 300/-to rupees 2000/=(7)Struck implementaion (time bound) confirmation after seven years infavour of Adhoc and Contractual employees.(8)Regularazation of in charge Officers in all the Departments especially in the Education Department, Non vocational status to the Officers of Education Department especially to Head masters and Principals (9)Holding DPC meetings thrice in a year in every Department (10)waiving of additional charge of Officers(11)Filling up of vacant posts of all HOD'S especially the post of Director Local Bodies (which has badly affected the Department) and Rugularzation of Salaries of Local Bodies and Municipal Committees and release of 6th Pay Commission Arrears in their favour (12)Merch of 50% DA with basic pay.(13) Enhancement in wages and Regularzation of Anganwadi Workers.(14)Release of Salary before Eid.(15)Implementation of minimum wages Act in favour of contingent paid employees.
