Srinagar, Dec 18 (KNS): Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) 3rd front leader and General Secretary Syed Ghulam Rasool Geelani Sunday said that it would go for civil secretariat gherao on December 19 to press for formulating a regularization policy.
Talking to KNS, Geelani said the employees will go for secretariat gherao to press the government for the regularization of daily wagers, casual labourers and other seasonal workers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“This is a protest against the dilly- dallying approach of the government towards this issue," he said.
He said the employees also demand implementation of the 7th pay commission. Geelani also appealed employees to go for mass casual leave on December 19 as a token protest against the government approach towards their demands. (KNS)
