Srinagar, Oct 31 (KNS): An extraordinary meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) 3rd front was held under the leadership of state General Secretary Syed Gh Rasool Geelani.
The meeting as per the statement issued to KNS condemned exploitation and abusive behavior with temporary employees working in the department of forest in Sindh Division.
DFO Shabir Ahmed attacked peaceful protesters with goons and injured many temporary employees, the statement said.
EJAC condemned the attitude of the Officer and demanded higher authorities to deliver justice with temporary employees by taking immediate action against this ‘unwanted officer’.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Geelani said from 1994 to 2015 all the pending wages of temporary employees will be immediately released and as well as immediate reinstatement, saying the EJAC will otherwise have to come to the streets with compassionate temporary employees for which the Governor Administration and the Chief Officers of the department will be held responsible.
The leaders who condemned the incident and solidarity with temporary employees was President Ab Ahad Bandroo vice President Mohd Iqbal Ganie Chief Organiser Gul Mohammad Mehdi Secretary Ali Mohammad Mir, Ab Ahad, Ab Rashid Wani, Zahoor Ahmad Naseer Ahmad and others. (KNS)
