Gulmarg, Oct 07 (KNS): Eight tourists from Uttar Pradesh were seriously injured in a road accident near Kawnar mode on Tangmar-Gulmarg road in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the accident took place when tourists from Uttar Pradesh were on their way to Tangmarg from Gulmarg.

He said that the driver lost control of the vehicle and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in injuries to eight tourists.

The official said that the locals along with army rushed them to SDH Tangmarg, where from they were shifted to Srinagar for further treatment. (KNS)
