Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS): Flood victims in Eidgah constituency Wednesday said that they are yet to receive compensation, despite the government claiming that they have disbursed the relief to all flood hit in the state.
“At least 800 flood victims are yet to receive the flood relief. Those who have received first installment of Rs 3800 are yet to get the second installment of Rs 25000,” they said.
“And many are yet to get the first installment of Rs 3800,” they said.
The appealed the higher authorities to address their grievance and release their relief.

Ahmad said that the families are facing hardships as their residential houses have developed cracks. “I appeal state administration to release the rehabilitation amount for them so that they can repair their homes,” Imtiyaz said.
Additional Development Commissioner Srinagar N A Baba told KNS that the flood relief to the victims will be released. “We are processing the cases which have been left out or which are fresh cases. Their relief will be releases very soon,” he said. (KNS)
