ReT forum welcomes decision, says, their efforts finally yielded results

Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): After many rounds of meetings, the government on Thursday reportedly agreed to take up the regularization of those Rehbar e Taleem teachers who have obtained their degrees from recognized universities in distance mode. Sources told KNS that Education Minster Nayeem Akhter passed directions on Thursday in this regard and asked directors of education Kashmir and Jammu to take up the cases on priority. The minster has reportedly asked directors to speed up the process and take up the files of those ReTs in first instance who have obtained degrees from Kashmir and Jammu Universities besides IGNOU and Moulana Azad Open University.
Meanwhile Rehbar e Taleem teachers forum has appreciated the move and said their tireless efforts to safeguard the interest of ReT community have finally yielded results.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelForum’s Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray told KNS that this was the win of all those ReTs who stood for their rights.
“We knew that our demands are genuine. Today our stand has been vindicated.” Tantrya told KNS, adding that the forum would continue to strive for the genuine rights of the ReT community. He appreciated Education Minister Nayeem Akhter for what he said, his vision and efforts and said the minster was keen to bring reforms in the system. Tantray also hailed Secretary Education and Director School Education Dr. Shah Faesal. He said that the forum was hopeful of a redressal of other pending issues including the transfer policy for RRts. (KNS)
