Srinagar, July 04 (KNS): The mother of Maqsood Ahmad, editor and producer of Current Affairs program on All India Radio Srinagar, Sheherbeen passed away on Monday.

Family sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that mother of Maqsood Ahmad passed away today at her residence.

Meanwhile, editor-in-chief KNS Mohammad Aslam Bhat and KNS Bureau Head South Kashmir Tassaduq Rashid have expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

In a condolence message they prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family, especially to Maqsood Ahmad to bear this irreparable loss. 

Meanwhile, many social, religious and political organisations condoled the sad demise of Maqsood’s mother and expressed sympathy with him. (KNS)
