Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): Ecopeace resource management foundation organised waste science exhibition-an initiative to develop Kashmir's first eco park made out of recyclable material.
The exhibition cum awareness camp was held in collaboration with Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) at SKICC here.
Divisional Commissioner, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Syed Abid Shah, SMC Commissioner Riyaz Wani, Advisor Tourism Minister Tufail Mattoo, Dept Ecology and remote sensing OM Prakash Sharma, Dr Shafia Wani faculty JK IMPAD, Nadeel Qadri Adv Environmentalist, Dr Aijaz Rasool LAWDA Ex CE, MR Rashid ud din Kundangad Prof MTech and SMC SBM Incharge Nazir Baba were present on the occasion.

In waste model management, Kothi Bagh hr sec school bags first prize while Lawrence Vidya Bhawan and Royal polytechnic bagged second and third prize respectively.
In innovative, Burn Hall School bagged the forst prize while as Muslim public school and Lawrence Vidya Bhawan bagged second and third position respectively.
In drawing competition, Srinagar public school bagged the first prize while as the DAPP Girls hr sec and Mars high school bagged second and third respectively. (KNS)
