Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Sheikh Aadil has been reinstated into service after the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor ordered the closure of departmental proceedings against him.
According to official sources, the decision followed an investigation that found no evidence under the Prevention of Corruption Act, with the case declared “not proved.” The court had also dismissed the charge sheet for related IPC offences after due consideration.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
An inquiry commission, after a “detailed and impartial examination,” exonerated Sheikh Aadil of all charges. The Intelligence Wing, in its independent assessment, also issued him a clean chit.
Based on these findings, the government ordered the closure of departmental proceedings and directed his immediate reinstatement, sources confirmed.(KNS)
