Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS): Castigating the “puppet government” for the 72 hour long “unjustified” internet ban, Dukhtaran-e-Millat has said that the “oppressed nation” should take this gag seriously and decide how long it can tolerate the oppression. Party has hailed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief for raising Kashmir issue during his meeting with UN chief and has said that practical measures should be taken rather than the rhetoric.
In a statement to KNS, general secretary of DeM has said that the puppet government didn’t allow the oppressed nation celebrate Eid with joy by arresting youth and the elders of many families and banning the internet. She said that India wanted to bar the Muslims of the state from slaughtering the bovine on eid and the puppet’s implemented the cruel policies without caring for those whom they claim to be representing. She said that in an era when internet is advocated to be declared as a basic human right the oppressed nation of Kashmir was illogically denied the access. “Our nation was barred from using internet when not only those thousands of people wanted to stay in touch with their familes, who are out in connection with studies and business, but those thousands of people wanted to convey their well being who are on Hajj and have escaped a big tragedy”. She said that this all was done to create an atmosphere of fear and to stop Muslims from bovine slaughter.
The statement said that the opperesed nation should take the internet gag, on eid, seriously and should decide for how long it is ready to tolerate the slavery of India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt further said that the India is trying to impose the Hindutva culture and eradicate the Muslim identity of Jammu Kashmir .“Demanding lifting of ban on bovine and such other things or futile as these all are the off shoots of Indian occupation, we should not demand ending the problems separately instead we should strengthen our movement and do all that is important to end the Indian occupation” the statement said.
Quoting the incarcerated President of the Party, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, the general secratery said that Syedah Aasiyeh, while hailing Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief for raising Kashmir issue in UN, has said that Pakistan should not stick to a rhetoric but should practically do all that is important to make India accept the reality that Kashmir was never its part and it has illegally occupied it. She said that Pakistan should speed up the diplomatic activities regarding Kashmir and try to gain the support of world community.
In the meanwhile Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi , despite being seriously sick, is still in the illegal confinement in the womens Police station Rambagh. The statement said that the police is delaying the so called procedure just to bar the leader from getting a bail from the court. “An SDPO made the family of the leader to wait till evening for a report which is mandatory to get a bail from the court, the leader is so sick but the puppet government is un moved” the statement said and declared the confinement of the leader as a result of frustration at the end of the occupiers.
