Bandipora, Jan 04 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler at Nowpora chowk of Bandipora district and recovered contraband drugs from his possession. 

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), acting on a specific information regarding movement of a drug peddler a special naka was laid at Nowpora chowk by a police team led by SHO Bandipora Rayees Ahmad. 

The statement reads that during checking one suspicious person was arrested and 28 Strips of contraband drug Proxywell Spas & Sposmoproxyvan Plus were recovered form his possession.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel 

The accused has been identified as Ghulam Mustafa Fafoo son of Ghulam Nabi Fafoo of Ashtengoo Ghat.

It reads that a Case FIR No.02/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered in police station Bandipora and further investigation was taken up. (KNS)
