Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNS): After inspecting 32 medical shops in Uri and Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the drug department on Wednesday suspended the licenses of five chemists.
According to KNS correspondent, a team of Drug Department headed by Assistant Controller Drug, Mohammad Younis Hazare inspected 32 medical shops in Uri and Sopore area and lifted nine samples from different chemists.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hazare told KNS that five drug licences of different chemists were suspended for three days and were directed not to open shops for three days.
He further said that the chemists have not maintained their sale record.
Deputy Drug Controller, Irfana Ahmad told KNS that strict action will be taken against the chemists if found violating the drug and cosmetics act. (KNS)
