Drone Shot Down Near Srinagar’s Old Airfield Amid Multiple Explosions

Srinagar, May 10 (KNS): A drone was intercepted and shot down by the air-defence system near the old airfield in Srinagar on Saturday, amid heightened security concerns following multiple explosions earlier in the day.

Officials reported that two loud blasts were heard in the vicinity of the Srinagar airport around 11:45 am, causing panic in the area. The drone was seen hovering over the old airfield—also referred to as the "technical airport"—when it was neutralised by the defence system.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
