Jammu, Dec 19 (KNS): Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Jammu, Shri Vivek Kumar, conducted an intensive inspection of Railway Bridge No. 17 between Kathua–Madhopur and Railway Bridge No. 137 between Ghagwal–Hiranagar as part of routine safety and infrastructure monitoring.
The inspection, which also covered the Jammu–Pathankot Cantt railway section, was carried out to assess passenger safety, facilities, and the progress of ongoing development works. Senior officers of the Jammu Division accompanied the DRM during the inspection.

Expressing satisfaction over the pace and quality of the work, Vivek Kumar directed the concerned officers and staff to expedite completion. He said that the repair works on Railway Bridges No. 17 and 137 are progressing rapidly and are expected to be completed soon, paving the way for normalization of train operations.
The inspection reflects the Railway administration’s continued emphasis on safety, infrastructure resilience, and uninterrupted rail connectivity in the region.(KNS)
