Srinagar April 21:(KNS)  The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and MP from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have greeted people on the Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji. 

In their message, the duo said that Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was a symbol of martyrdom. The Prakash Purab of Guru Ji, the duo said, is an opportunity to remember his work, contribution, services, struggle and sacrifice for the cause of the cherished values of humanity. They hoped that the day augurs well for increased prospects of peace and prosperity in J&K, and the rest of the country. 

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani have also felicitated people on the auspicious eve hoping the occasion acts as harbinger of peace and prosperity in J&K, Ladakh and rest of the country.(KNS)
