Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah express grief over demise of wife of Moulana Abbas Ansari

Srinagar, November 25: (KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and Member of Parliament Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed grief over demise of wife of President Itihad Ul Muslimeen Moulana Abbas Ansari.

The duo prayed for peace to the soul of the deceased and much needed fortitude to their bereaved household. They also prayed for the highest echelons to the deceased in Jannah. The party president and vice president in particular expressed sympathies with Moulana Abbas Ansari Sahib and prayed for fortitude and strength to him and the entire household to bear the irreparable and inconsolable loss.

Meanwhile Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, Party MPs Muhammad Akbar Lone, Hassnain Masoodi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Mubarak Gul, Political Advisor to Vice President Tanvir Sadiq, District President Budgam Abdul Ahad Dar have also expressed grief over demise of wife of Moulana Abbas Ansari.

Meanwhile Party’s Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani led a delegation of party functionaries including consisting of party’s provincial secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq, District President Budgam Abdul Ahad Dar to Shamas Abad Khan Sahib to condole with the bereaved family of late Showkat Ahmed Bhat.

On the occasion the party functionaries expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members of deceased in particular with his brother and party’s provincial Joint Secretary GN Bhat Sahib. The visiting delegation offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for eternal repose to his departed soul in Jannat.(KNS)
