Srinagar September 28 (KNS):  Chairperson J& K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today chaired a meeting atvCentral Office of the Board regarding arrangements for the upcoming celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (saw) falling on 9th October. Representative Officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Police, Tourism Directorate, JKPDCL, Directorate of Health Services, RTO, JKPCC, PHE, SICOP, PWD, LAWDA, Fire & Emergency Services.

A roadmap for updating facilities for the celebrations at all major shrines and religious places was discussed. Action to be taken by different departments was decided on the spot. Later Dr Darakhshan Andrabi after congratulating the people on Eid- e- Milad-un-Nabi said that we have put in place a fool proof mechanism for giving all require facilities to devotees and pilgrims during the Milad celebrations and the coordinated efforts of all departments will help us in creating better facilities as expected by the people.
