Srinagar, Oct 19 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Qaid-e-Sani Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday paid obeisance at Asar-e-Sharief Dargah Hazratbal on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-Un Nabi (SAW) observance.

Dr Farooq offered congregational Zuhar prayers and paid obeisance at the Shrine, which houses the holy relic of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

Later the Party President also had a glimpse of the holy relic, which was displayed for public view after the prayers. On the occasion, Dr Farooq prayed for lasting peace, prosperity, brotherhood and amity in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the rest of the world. He beseeched the almighty Allah for the revival of trade and economic activities in Kashmir. The Party President also prayed for the Safety, security and prosperous future of youth of Kashmir, Pir Panjal, Chenab, Kargil and Jammu regions. (KNS)
