Srinagar, Mar 02 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the killing of a women and her two children in heavy overnight shelling from Pakistan in Poonch area.
The duo has urged the incumbent administration to give best possible treatment to the injured and ensure safety and security of the people living across the LoC.
Former MLA and YNC provincial president Jammu Aijaz Jan attended the Nimaz e Janazah of those killed in shelling. YNC Jammu president urged the incumbent governor administration to ensure best of medical treatment to the injured.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe also urged the administration to give adequate compensation of Rs 10 Lac for each dead to the affected family.
Meanwhile party president and vice president also expressed grief over the demise of former Minister and senior PDP leader Qazi Muhammad Afzal of Ganderbal.
The duo prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and strength to the family to bear the loss.
Party’s senior leader, North zone president and former Speaker Muhammad Akbar Lone, Mian Altaf, District President Ganderbal and former MLA Ishfaq Jabbar have also extended condolences to the grief-stricken family and prayed for peace to the soul of departed. (KNS)
