Srinagar May 07 (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday paid tributes to prominent Islamic scholar Mirwaiz Mir Mujahid Moulana Ahmadullah Hamadani (RA) on his 87th death anniversary.

Dr. Farooq paid tributes to the late Mirwaiz, acknowledging his relentless fight against autocratic rule from 1916 to 1939. He emphasized the importance of studying the lives and works of such great men, as they have significantly contributed to the betterment of society. Dr. Farooq urged the younger generation to embrace the teachings of these remarkable individuals.
