Srinagar, 02 Nov (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Honourable Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday extended warm greetings to the people on the observance of the Urs of Hazrat Syed Hussain Simnani (RA) at Kulgam.
Extending his greetings, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that the valley of Kashmir has long been blessed as the abode of saints and sages. “Ours is a society that has imbibed the cherished values of brotherhood and god-consciousness from such great personalities. The need of the hour is to incorporate their teachings into our daily lives. In his message CM Omar Abdullah said, “Hazrat Simnani’s (RA) message of kindness and selflessness must be emulated in every aspect of life. His legacy continues to form the bedrock of our rich cultural and spiritual heritage. I pray that this auspicious occasion brings peace, prosperity, and brotherhood to Kashmir.”
Meanwhile, senior leader and cabinet minister Sakina Itoo, along with State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, also extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion.(KNS)
