Party’s Minority wing holds condolence meeting at Nawa-e-Subha, participants prayed for peace to departed leader

Srinagar, September 09:(KNS)  The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr.Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed profound grief and shock over the tragic death of former Member of J&K legislative council and veteran Party Member Sardar Trilochan Singh Wazir Ji, who was found dead in west Delhi’s Moti Nagar area today. 

In his condolence message, Dr Farooq said, “I am deeply pained and shocked over the terrible news about the tragic demise of our veteran party colleague. His services as chairman of district Gurudwara Prabandhak board J&K and as MLC will be remembered for all times to come. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and well-wishers in their hour of bereavement. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace,” he said.

Expressing grief over the demise of Wazir Sahib, Omar Abdullah said, “Shocked by the terrible news of the sudden death of my colleague Sardar TS Wazir, ex MLC. He has given valuable services as a legislator and chairman of District Gurdwara Parbandhak Board, J&K. My condolences to his family and may they find strength to bear this loss,” he said.

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani , Devender Singh Rana, Party MPs Muhammad Akbar Lone, Hassnain Masoodi, Senior Leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Abdul Rahim Rather, Mubarak Gul, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Sajad Ahmed Kitcloo, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhy, Aijaz Jan, Salman Ali Sagar, JS Azad and MK Yogi have also expressed profound grief over the death of TS Wazir Ji, prayed for peace to his soul and strength to bereaved.

 Meantime the party functionaries demanded a thorough probe of the exact cause of Wazir Sahib’s death. A condolence meeting, presided over by Minority Wing Organizer JS Azad was also held at party HeadQuarters Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar. Among others Party’s District president Srinagar Peer Afaq, Adv. Showkat Ahmed Mir, Dr. Syed were also present in the meeting, which was marked by special prayers for the deceased leader.

Meanwhile Party President and Vice President have also condoled with the party’s senior member Haji Ghulam Qadir Akhoon of Gund on the demise of his sister.

 The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved to bear the irreparable loss.  Among others GS Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leaders Mian Altaf Ahmed, Muhammad Syed Akhoon; and District President Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar have also expressed deep sympathies with Haji Ghulam Qadir Akhoon Sahib on his inconsolable loss. While sharing grief with bereaved, Party functionaries prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannah. (KNS)
