Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) youth wing Friday held a meeting in Srinagar and appealed government to amend the recently implemented National Food Security Act (NFSA) in the state.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of DPN youth wing’s president, Muzaffar Reeshi.
“Government should amend the recently implemented NFSA in the state. The 5 Kg’s ration quota announced by the government should be increased to 9kg’s,” Muzaffar in a meeting said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the authorities should personally intervene to make the rice available on sale centres so that the people would feel relief from the black marketers and others who are minting money from the poor people here.
The meeting was attended by several youth wing leaders. (KNS)
