Srinagar, Jan 04 (KNS): Aisha Begum, mother of senior separatist leader and Democratic Political Movement (DPM) spokesman, Yar Muhammad Khan passed away on Tuesday evening.
She breathed her last after brief illness.
Hundreds of people attended the last rites of deceased, which was held on Wednesday morning and prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased.
DPM chief, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi and other party leaders also attended the funeral prayers of deceased and expressed solidarity with Khan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, various social, religious leaders visited the bereaved family at their residence at Naqash Pora Barabar Shah Srinagar to express solidarity with them.
They also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
