Srinagar, Dec 23 (KNS): Taja Begum, mother of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) and senior Hurriyat (G) leader, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi passed away this morning at her home.
Taja, 80, died after prolonged illness.
Hundreds of persons attended the funeral of Taja Begum. She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard at Nasbul Sumbal.

Meanwhile, mother of DPM spokesman, Yar Muhammad Khan has suffered cardiac attack and was shifted to SKIMS for treatment.
