DPAP slams Omar Abdullah over “false” accusations against GN Azad

Srinagar, Nov 16 (KNS): In response to the recent barrage of unsubstantiated claims by Omar Abdullah, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) spokesperson, Advocate Mohammad SaleemParray, urged a more reflective approach to political discourse.”

In a statement, issued to KNS, he said that before leveling wild accusations against the upright politician Azad, Omar Abdullah should introspect and stop concocting false stories.

He expressed the party’s dismay at Abdullah’s fabricated and frivolous accusations against DPAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Challenging the National Conference leadership and others who sought political mileage on false grounds, Parray said that it amply proves that NC and other political parties feel the heat of DPAP’s popularity.

Parray went on to question the achievements of the National Conference, emphasizing that even after tying knots with BJP for the lust of power, they failed to make their cadre public-friendly over the last 70 years.

He said that is there any answer for the cricket scam, the mysterious death of their worker MohdYousuf Shah, and the use of POTA, PSA, TADA, and Task Force to silence unarmed Kashmiris?

Offering a piece of advice to Omar Abdullah and others, he said it is very easy to talk very tall, but it’s very cumbersome to come up to the expectations of common masses.”

He concluded with an advice, “DPAP offers Solomon advice that Omar Abdullah should think before hespeaks and look before he jump, else they may end up breaking their own political limbs.”

He added that DPAP remains committed to fostering meaningful political dialogue and constructive governance for the betterment of the region. (KNS)
