Donate generously for Baramulla fire victims: DIG Baramulla

Srinagar, June 11 (KNS): Deputy Inspector General North Kashmir Sujit Kumar on Friday appealed all sections of society to help the Baramulla fire victims.

 

"Let's make every possible effort to rehabilitate the Baramulla fire victims," he said.

He also appreciated the postive role of media and urged them to continue their positive role in their rehabilitation, he said. "We have to feel the pain of the Baramulla fire victims and have to do something concrete, DIG said. 

 

He added that some of his businessmen friends arranged ration and water for these people and it should not stop here as all of us we have to play our role to accommodate these homeless people. 

 

DIG urged the people to donate for these people. The donors should identify a unified account to help these people, he said.

Earlier during Thursday evening dozens of residential houses in Noorbagh Baramulla were gutted in ashes. (KNS)
