Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) president and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin today asked the leadership of both Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Conference (NC) not to rub salt on the wounds of Kashmiris by talking on issues which are beyond their competence.
Reacting to the statements of NC and PDP leadership MLA Khansahib in a statement to KNS, here on Saturday said Kashmir is the issue of future of more than 1.25 crore people and they know what is right and what is wrong for them. “Neither PDP has mandate for talking about resolution of Kashmir issue nor the NC have. The aim of the both the parties is power.”
“When they talk about autonomy and self-rule they try to put the Kashmir issue at backburner. And by it they harm the interests of Kashmiri people who have been sacrificing since 1947,” he said.
Asking both the parties to work according to their mandate which is governance, he said, “People have given mandate to them (NC and PDP) right from 1947 for that. But unfortunately they have even failed on governance issue also. Leadership of both these parties have been claiming from time to time that they will get back power projects from NHPC, revoke AFSPA and provide employment to lakhs of educated youth.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHowever, they have miserably failed in it.”
“Let them leave the political issues to people and not rub salt wounds of Kashmiris by issuing non-sense statements. People know whom they (NC and PDP) want to please by issuing such statements but they can’t make people fool anymore,” Hakim Yasin added.
Asking NC and PDP not to make people of Kashmir suffer anymore for their petty interests the PDF chief said, “Leadership of both these parties have remained in power at Center and state from time to time. Their only aim is power and they should now avoid making people fool by issuing statements which are beyond their mandate.”
“Kashmir is a core issue and even government of India has accepted that dialogue is the only way out to solve the Kashmir issue. People don’t need any lectures on it from NC and PDP leadership whose only aim right from 1947 has been to remain glued to power by hook or crook,” he added. (KNS)
