Srinagar, Dec 30 (KNS): Tehreek-e-Huriyat leaders including Peer Saif Ullah, Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, Raja Meraj u Din, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Mohammad Yusuf Makroo, Mudasir Nadvi, Mohammad Amin Ahangar and Gh Hassan Shah addressed Friday congregations at Hyderpora, Khimber Hazratbal, Lou pora Badgam, Pantha Chowk, Gashripora Wanpoh, Shiv pora, Kuloora Shopian and Bomia Sopre and strongly condemned the issuance of domicile certificates to west Pakistan refugees.
According to the statement issued to KNS, TeH spokesman said that the leaders said that this malicious move is aimed at to change the special identity and Muslim majority status of Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that all these refugees are not entitled to any residential certificate as it is against the norms laid in division plan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Pledging to foil the said move, the leaders asked people to stand against this as it will prove detrimental for our identity.
They said that we are not against their rehabilitation but they should be rehabilitated in some other state of India, on this occasion people staged and organized protests and pledged to resist any such move.
“It was observed that India and its henchmen in state are hell-bent to change demography and they are just following the footsteps of RSS for the lust of their power,” the statement reads.
Asking people to exhibit their resentment and send clear message to all these stooges that any such malicious won’t be tolerated and will be resisted tooth and nail. (KNS)
